bhl software package provides Emacs mode for converting annotated text to HTML and LaTeX, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bhl
bhl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bhl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bhl *
You will get with bhl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
